How to Get More Clients Using Google SEO for Creative Freelancers
Overview
What people find on Google isn’t random, there’s a strategy behind it. This small-group workshop (limited to 12 people) explains how Google search really works and how creative freelancers can use SEO to get clients coming to them—without chasing.
You’ll learn:
- How Google decides what shows up in search results—and what actually matters for creatives
- How to structure your website and portfolio so potential clients quickly understand what you do (and why to hire you)
- How to turn past work (like client projects, exhibitions, press, performances, or writing) into SEO-friendly content that builds visibility and credibility
- How tools like AI and ChatGPT are changing SEO—and how to use them to speed up content creation and research (without losing your voice)
- How to choose realistic SEO tactics that fit your goals, capacity, and type of creative work
If you’re a designer, architect, writer, performer, or creative freelancer who wants more inbound inquiries (and fewer cold pitches), this session is for you. Spots are capped at 12 to keep it interactive and tailored.
