Hybrid Turkish Courses - Winter Term 2026
Overview
TURKISH COURSES FOR DIFFERENT LEVELS
We are offering Turkish courses at A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary) , B1 (Intermediate) and B2 (Upper-Intermediate) levels.
In hybrid courses, you can attend the classes either in person or online. Additionally, if you prefer, you can choose to attend some days online and other days in person.
COURSE SPECIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATION
A1.1 (NEW COURSE!!) - HYBRID
- Course Schedule : Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EST
- Course Hours : 4 hours a week, 72 hours in total ( 18 weeks )
- Course Dates: January 24, 2026 to June 20, 2026
A1.2- HYBRID
- Course Schedule : Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm EST
- Course Hours : 4 hours a week, 72 hours in total ( 18 weeks )
- Course Dates: January 26, 2026 to June 11, 2026
A2.2 - HYBRID
- Course Schedule : Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm EST
- Course Hours : 4 hours a week, 72 hours in total ( 18 weeks )
- Course Dates: January 26, 2026 to June 11, 2026
B1.2 - HYBRID
- Course Schedule : Tuesdays and Fridays 6:00 - 8:00 pm EST
- Course Hours : 4 hours a week, 72 hours in total ( 18 weeks )
- Course Dates: January 27, 2026 to June 12, 2026
B2.1 - HYBRID
- Course Schedule : Saturdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm EST
- Course Hours : 4 hours a week, 72 hours in total ( 18 weeks )
- Course Dates: February 7, 2026 to June 27, 2026
• Venue: Online classes via digital platforms; in-person courses at the Toronto Yunus Emre Institute.
• Note: The course may finish slightly earlier or later than the specified date depending on holidays and possible interruptions. There will be no classes on the following holiday dates: Family Day (February 16), Ramadan Eid (March 19–22), Good Friday (April 3), Victoria Day (May 18), and Eid al-Adha (May 26–30).

• Teachers: Native Turkish speakers with experience in foreign language teaching
• Age: You must be of high school age or older.
• Course Fee:
CA$108 + Eventbrite processing fee
Registration: You must register for the course on Eventbrite. Candidates will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid missing this opportunity, we advise you to register promptly.
Withdrawal / Refunding: It is possible to withdraw any applications before the start of the course. In this case, the processing fees charged by Eventbrite might not be refundable. If a participant wishes to withdraw their application within the first week, Eventbrite fees and an additional 20% admin fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid. After the first week, no refund of the registration fee will be provided. All refunds will be made to the participant's bank account.
Registration Documents: When the courses commence, the Toronto Yunus Emre Institute might request you to complete additional registration forms and submit documents. The Institute will handle all documents and information confidentially in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
• All attendees MUST activate their cameras during class sessions.
• For the online classes, the connection link will be sent to you before the lessons. Yunus Emre Institute doesn’t provide you any computer or mobile device to connect to the lessons or any other course-related material other than those stated above. It is your own responsibility to obtain a computer or a mobile device, and internet connection to get connected to the lessons.
• Please note that we may record lessons for educational, administrative or marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let the teacher know in writing and turn off your own camera.
Yedi İklim Türkçe Set
Yedi İklim Türkçe Set, prepared by the Turkish Education Directorate, consists of course books, workbooks, teacher's books, listening booklets and audio CD's. These sets are developed taking into consideration the levels and basic living areas given in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The book sets comprises the A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 levels and are used at the Cultural Centers, departments of Turkish studies that collaborate with the Institute, and the Turkish Teaching Centers in Türkiye.
