Nope! We encourage people to ensure their confidentiality and anonymity by keeping your cameras and mics off and re-naming your profile to just your first name.

Will I be able to ask questions directly to the facilitator?

Absolutely. If you aren't comfy unmuting and/or putting your camera on to ask your question directly, please feel free to write it in the chat.

Do I have to agree with feminism to come?

Accepted Answer

Definitely not. We are very welcoming of all perspectives and encourage you to join if you're feeling curious and open to learning. We are welcoming of critiques because that's how we grow and learn.

Question 4

Will hurtful comments or behaviours be tolerated?

Accepted Answer

Nope. We respect all humans and expect the same in return. If you or anyone in the group is engaging in communication or behaviours that are hurtful or dehumanising to anyone, we expect accountability and apology. If you are struggling to demonstrate accountability, we will ask you to leave.

Is feminist therapy only for women?

Accepted Answer

Feminism is for everybody! Just like bell hooks taught us. All humans are harmed by oppressive systems like patriarchy, supremacy culture, colonialism and exploitative capitalism.

If it's not feminist, it's not therapy.
