Amidst the countless conversations happening during the COVID-19 crisis, one in particular that needs to be amplified is the impact this global pandemic is having on young people.

At the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity and Opportunity for All Youth, we are rising to the challenge by starting a conversation.

On Thursday, April 2nd, 2020, we will host #ImpactCOVID: A virtual youth summit. This is a platform for youth to share how this ongoing crisis is impacting them and how the youth workforce development sector can better support them during this time. Our objective is to capture the feedback, package it and share it throughout the youth workforce development space. We want to ensure that the sector is fully informed about the needs of youth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This conversation will feature a diverse set of youth voices and industry representatives who work with youth, sharing their perspectives on the issues and actions needed.
