Description
We often think about architecture from an aesthetic viewpoint, or in terms of very basic human interactions. Does it looks good? Are the stairs in a convenient place? The more complex functional requirements are usually left out of the conversation.
Join us for the final In Situ tour of the year with Donna Clare, the lead architect behind the new RAM.
This isn't the museum tour you're used to. We won't be looking at the exhibits. We'll learn about how technical challenges shaped the building, the task of designing a home for a complicated and fragile collection of artifacts, and the hidden complexity within this new landmark.
In Situ is a series about design that brings the conversation out of the lecture theatre and into the real world.
