COURSE SUMMARY

(This course is one of the essential courses required for Professional Security Certification under the Infrastructure Resilience Research Group, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Design, Carleton University)



Please Note: This is a single day course from 8:30am to 5:00pm


The objectives of this course is to provide analysts, managers and infrastructure security and resilience practitioners a
foundational framework and understanding of the issues and challenges related to all-hazard threats to infrastructure security and resilience in a constantly evolving environment.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the process of developing mitigation solutions to complex and interdisciplinary issues
  • Perform resilience analysis and examine principles from a national and international context
  • Identify and analyze complex threats and adversaries
  • Learn key concepts and principles
  • Take a leadership role in applying lessons learned in the workplace.
