Join us for Inside the Journey: Understanding Dementia from All Sides - Virtual Conference, where we bring together health care professionals, care partners, and families to explore the latest insights, practical strategies, and personal perspectives in dementia care. This full-day virtual event on Zoom features two unique streams:
- Care Partners Stream – For care partners, family members, friends of someone living with dementia, or anyone seeking more information.
- Health Care Professionals Stream – For those working in a health care setting.
Both streams run at the same time, offering tailored sessions to meet your unique needs.
About
Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including memory care vs. assisted living, behaviour and intimacy, grief and caregiving, dementia-related policy updates, and innovative approaches to person-centred care. Attendees will gain knowledge, tools, and inspiration to enhance the well-being and quality of life of people living with dementia, while strengthening support for those who care for them.

Adam Morrison is the Senior Director of Public Policy & Partnerships at the Alzheimer Society of Ontario. With extensive experience in health policy and systems change, Adam leads the Society’s provincial advocacy efforts to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their care partners. He joins us to share updates on current dementia-related advocacy initiatives and how you can get involved in shaping a more dementia-inclusive Ontario.
