International Student Mixer

Join us on Wednesday, December 15 at 3:00 pm ET at Graduate House to meet other international graduate students at the University of Waterloo. This will be a great opportunity to meet new friends, learn about campus life and GSA, and get a free GSA t-shirt while supplies last. Remember to bring your WatCard and credit/debit card to buy discounted food and beverage. We hope to see you there!

Some important things to note:

-Only those who are registered will be granted access to the event. If you no longer wish to attend, please email gsa-international@uwaterloo.ca to cancel your spot so that another student can come.

-This event will take place inside the graduate house and capped at 25 people.

- Please have your Vaccine Proof (digital or physical) handy and Government ID (digital or physical; driver license or passport; WatCard doesn't count) when you check in at the Graduate House.

- Check-in will begin at 2:50 pm until 3:15 pm EST. For those who don't check-in by 3:15 pm ET, your spots will be forfeited and given to those waiting onsite without registrations.

-COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. See the following agreement.

-This event is subject to change.

COVID-19 Agreement:

As mandated by the government of Ontario, as of September 22, 2021 all indoor dine-in patrons must show proof of vaccination and government ID. Please have your Ministry of Health Vaccine Receipt (digital or physical) handy as well as a form of Government ID when you enter the Graduate House. UW folks should already have submitted their proof of vaccination to be on campus. Vaccine records are not required for takeaway or outdoor areas.
