The UFV School of Creative Arts (SoCA) with UFV Graphic + Digital Design are thrilled to announce Interpret, a Creative and Performing Arts Festival, hosted on April 29, 2022.

Everyone is welcome to attend this highly anticipated celebration of emerging talent by UFV students and graduates from Theatre, Visual Arts, Media Arts, Film and Graphic + Digital Design.

This year marks the third annual Interpret festival which will showcase live theatre performances by UFV Theatre’s fourth-year directing class, Film and Media Arts screenings, an art exhibition by the Visual Arts graduating class, and a showcase by Graphic + Digital Design graduating students.

4:00 pm The festival opens at the C building entrance.

4:00–9:00 pm Visual Arts, Media Arts & GDD exhibits on view in buildings B, C and D.

4:00–6:00 pm Emerging Director’s Showcase in D105.

5:00–7:00 pm Sto:lo Catering and a cash bar at the Cafeteria B105.

6:00–6:30 pm Introductions and acknowledgements in the Cafeteria B105

7:00–8:30 pm Film screening in B101.

7:00–9:00 pm Emerging Director’s Showcase in D105.

Interpret will be held at the UFV Abbotsford campus throughout buildings B, C and D, and admission is free.

Seating for the Directors’ Showcase performances will be first come, first serve. Audiences will be able to come in and out of the theatre between each of the 10-minute plays.
