Intro to 3D Printing and Design with Tinkercad (January 7th, 2026)

Overview

A hands-on workshop where participants will learn how 3D Printing works and use Tinkercad to explore 3D design basics.

New to 3D Printing and Design? Come and watch and learn from TPL Staff on how a 3D printer works in the Digital Innovation Hub.

Class instruction includes:

  1. How to prepare a 3D design file for print
  2. How to use the equipment properly and safely
  3. Reviewing the rules and guidelines to using the 3D printer

Followed by the introduction to printing, class participants will be given a hands-on workshop where they learn how to create simple 3D designed key chain and become familiar with design tools.

Registration is required for this class. You can order free tickets by clicking the link below. Tickets will become available one week prior to the class at 9 a.m.
