What is journeying?

A "journey" is a spiritual trip via an altered state not unlike daydreaming—you’re in your body but elsewhere—where you can connect with other worlds, spirit and receive guidance, healing and messages; journeying is often facilitated through drumming or rattling.

What will I learn in this workshop?

This is an experiential workshop. In it, you'll learn what is journeying, how spirits communicate, common experiences, the basics—intent and protocol—about the three worlds (upper, middle and lower) and how to journey and connect with spirit. We will journey as a group and share in circle.

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

We will have some yoga chairs but you're welcome to bring your own mat or chair too. You'll need a blindfold/eye mask and a journal/notebook to capture what comes up for you. Water and a sweet treat will be provided; please bring your own thermos or cup. Dress comfortably.

Journeying is a profound ancient practice that brings you into the body and into your own medicine for healing, community and connection. It’s a technique that teaches and supports you, especially in daily life and challenging times. A great gift for you or loved ones as we step into the holidays.

Why learn journeying with a teacher?

It's important to learn journeying from a trained practitioner who is versed not only in the practice but the ethics of the technique. Intent and protocol are important. Also, we're not just facilitators but available after the workshop for questions. Guidance/mentorship is vital in this learning.
