Introduction to Veneering with Pierre Rousseau

This workshop will cover the basics of working with veneer. You will learn about selecting quality pieces, design with veneer, strategies for accurate cutting and different finishing methods.
Each participant will have the opportunity to make an elegant chess board and box. As time permits, various alternative designs, from functional to decorative, may be demonstrated and/or discussed in addition to the hands‐on class projects.
This is a two day workshop. Each day will begin at 9:00 am and end at around 4:00 pm. The workshop will be held at Intersections Wood Collaborative at 299 10th Street E., Owen Sound.
Beginners welcome!
Workshop Cost: $200. Materials fee payable to instructor at start of class depending on materials selected.
