Welcome to the Basic Computer Skills event!

Join us for a series of FREE workshops designed to help you confidently navigate the digital world! Whether you're new to technology or looking to brush up on your skills, the Connecting Families Initiative from the Government of Canada is proud to support you in getting online and staying connected.

The Windows operating system is the heart of most computers. This session will help you get comfortable with its key features, making your daily tasks simpler. We'll cover:

  • Understanding the Start Menu and Taskbar
  • How to find and save files
  • Using File Explorer to organize documents
  • Basic keyboard shortcuts to save time
