Jenn Moudahi's new book "Charlotte's New Moccasins"

Join us for a joyful afternoon of storytelling, culture, and creativity. Métis author Jenn Moudhai will be reading her brand-new children’s book, bringing her words to life for kids and families. After storytime, the celebration continues with a pizza party and hands-on activities that connect children to Métis traditions in fun and accessible ways.

Children will explore canvas beading, learn about moccasin making, and create their own fur and leather keychains. They’ll also enjoy colorful dot art projects and other crafts inspired by the story. Every child will receive a hard copy of Jenn’s book to take home, and they’ll have the special opportunity to meet Jenn in person and have their book signed.

This event is open to all ages and is a wonderful chance to experience Métis culture through storytelling, food, and creative expression. Bring your family and friends for an afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and community.
