The Ordinary Made Extraordinary
We will watch films in which everyday objects are brought to life in enchanting ways. These includes Le ballon rouge (1956) and The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore (2011), among others. A full class outline will be provided to participants in advance.

Each screening explores a different aspect of filmmaking, from storytelling and animation to who is on a film crew and what do they do. After each film, kids will engage in interactive discussions to help them understand how movies are made, how stories come to life on the big screen, and how they can start creating their own films. Perfect for curious young filmmakers and movie lovers alike!

Note: This film club is intended for kids aged 7 to 10 and films will be in English or French, or silent!

Individual Tickets: $22.50 (includes popcorn and a juice box). Children are invited to bring their favourite stuffy, pillow or blanket.
