About this event

The Lab2Market Deeptech Expo will welcome all of the key stakeholders in the ecosystem - research teams, deeptech startups, tech transfer offices, government funders, venture capitalists and various representatives of deeptech programs across the country for a first of its kind event. It will be a day of networking and knowledge transfer via panel discussions and talks, as well as a showcase of the next generation of deeptech entrepreneurs via a live pitch competition.

Innovation Boost Zone (IBZ) is an early-stage tech incubator, which is part of the Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship as well as the Ryerson Zone Learning network.

Our aim is to nurture the entrepreneurial mindset, expose real problems and guide individuals to better solutions in their pursuit of venture creation.

We provide early-stage startups with a community of like-minded people, programming, advising, mentorship, access to co-working space and funding.
