Labyrinthine Soundscapes Event: A Sonic Journey
Overview
Join us for an immersive evening where sound meets healing. Experience a rich blend of music, nature sounds and ambient noise, designed to evoke the spirit of healing. This event offers a meditatative space to connect with the sounds around us, fostering a sense of peace.
Doors close at 8:45pm. The music will finish at 830pm to allow for silent walks until 9pm. Suggested donation is $15 if comfortably affordable. Limited space for yoga mats available on a first come basis, and chairs are provided for those who wish to enjoy the soundscape sitting. Questions? Check the FAQ below or call 604-685-6832. About the muscians:
Our percussionist for the evening, Andrew, is an electroacousting multi-instrumentalist combining classical training and imaginative free improvisionation to craft soundscapes inspired by comminal intention and co-creation. Based locally in Chinatown, he can be found sharing sounds in ceremony, facilitating small group soundbaths, and noodling around whenever there is a free improv jam.
