Landscape Linocut (4 weeks)
Overview
Landscape Linocut (4 weeks)
Thursdays, January 22 - February 12, 2026
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Instructor: Karen Klee-Atlin
Class Capacity: 6 participants
Materials included | No prior experience needed | All skill levels welcome
Ideal for first-time printmakers and those looking to refresh their skills, this workshop focuses on translating images into black and white through strong composition and a thoughtful balance of positive and negative space. Participants will also create additional textures through carving.
You will experience the entire linocut process, from transferring your image onto a linoleum plate and safely carving, to inking, preparing paper, making a simple jig for your plate, and printing both by hand and using the press. Participants will leave with a small edition of linocut prints.
