Laudato Si’: Listening to the Voice of God in Creation

By The Newman Association of Vancouver

Overview

A lecture on the late Pope Francis's encyclical by Dr. John Marten.

Join the Newman Association of Vancouver as we host Dr. John Marten's for a free public lecture on Laudato Si' on the 10th anniversary of the encyclical's publication.

Laudato Si’ is a work about spiritual crisis; human beings are the source of that crisis, but also hold the key to solving that crisis by paying attention to the Creator. It is important to see Laudato Si' as a guide to spiritual conversion: if we do not value each person as created in the imago dei, how will we treat God's creation, the plants and all animals, with respect and care?
