Let Her Talk x Studio 73: Glass Fusing Workshop
Overview
*Safe Space for Racialized Women and Girls Only*
Free Event - All Supplies are Provided + Food
During the glass fusing workshop, you’ll be able to take pieces of glass and create a design of your choosing. After you arrange your design, it’s fired in a kiln so the glass melts and fuses into a smooth, finished piece. This workshop is beginner-friendly, relaxing, and a great way to explore your creativity.
Who is Studio 73?
"Studio Seventy Three is a non-profit studio and gallery proudly supported by the Community Living Society. With the support of cultural grants from the City of Surrey, we have delivered free classes to hundreds of local residents, with a particular focus on individuals who are often underrepresented, marginalized, or may not otherwise have the means to participate in arts programming. In addition to our arts programming, we are committed to giving back: 30% of proceeds from the sale of social awareness-themed artwork is donated to local organizations such as the Orange Shirt Society, Surrey Pride Society, and Métis Nation British Columbia."
Wednesday Dec 10th from 5:30-7pm.
