Level up your learning with advanced coding languages! Get the hands-on training you need to bring amazing coding experiences to Grade 6 - 12 students with this FREE workshop series!
Started with coding in the classroom and ready to take things to the next level?
In this series of hands-on, interactive workshops we will be exploring advanced text-based coding languages to support grades 6-12 teachers in building the skills they need to bring amazing learning experiences to their students.
This workshop series is intended for teachers who have some prior experience with teaching code, have a grasp of the fundamental concepts of programming (e.g. conditionals, loops, etc), and are looking to move on from block-based coding languages.

The workshops will be run virtually through Microsoft Teams. In order to participate, you will need access to a laptop with an internet connection. Additional downloads may be required.

Coding with Python
Python is one of the most popular programming languages around the world. Take your learning to the next level as we explore a range of hands-on, visually stimulating projects that will make your students love to code.

Video Game Design with Unity [Grades 9 – 12 only]
Ever wondered how some of your favourite games are made? Now’s your chance to learn how to program games with one of the industry’s most popular tools; Unity! Gain hands-on experience in the Unity editor as we learn to build our very own 3D game.
To participate in this workshop, you will need to download Unity. Click here for full instructions on how to complete the download. The download process can be lengthy; we encourage you to start the process at least 48 hours before the workshop.
