Life After the Postdoc? Industry Networking Night

Are you wondering what life looks like after the postdoc? Join our round-table discussions with professionals with diverse and rewarding careers outside of academia. The event will be held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, from 5PM to 8PM in the KITE Auditorium of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (550 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 2A2).

The program features a short presentation, round-table discussions with invited professionals, and an informal networking session. Postdoctoral researcher across Toronto are invited to attend and will be matched with professionals most suited to their career interests. A $6 registration fee will include food and refreshments.

Registration is open to GTA postdocs, including but not limited to the Toronto Metropolitan University, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, University Health Network, SickKids, and Unity Health.

Following registration, the organizing committee will be in contact with a form to indicate your preferences of professionals you would like to meet with.
