Join us for a cozy chat about finding light during the dark winter months, sharing stories and tips to navigate through the blues together.

Description:

This is a supportive and interactive session designed to help participants understand the impact of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and winter-related mood changes. The workshop blends education with practical strategies—such as lifestyle adjustments, and mindfulness practices—while fostering a safe space for discussion and peer connection. 

Objective:

  • Increase awareness of winter depression and its common signs.
  • Provide practical coping tools including light exposure, exercise, nutrition, and sleep hygiene.
  • Encourage resilience through stress management and positive daily routines.
  • Empower participants to create personalized self-care plans for the winter season.

January 20th, 2026 at 3:00pm - 4:00pm EST


Eligibility:

  • Only Permanent Residents or Protected Persons (e.g., Conventional Refugees)
  • Permanent Residents or Conventional Refugees who reside in Canada
  • Completion of intake form is mandatory
