Magisterra At The Museum: Holocaust - Silenced, Survived, Remembered

By Magisterra Soloists

Overview

Magisterra invites you to join us for our annual concert dedicated to remembering the voices that were silenced because of the Holocaust.

Magisterra Soloists is celebrating its 9th season of making music with Museum London and our wonderful community that has supported us along the way. We invite you to join us for our annual concert dedicated to remembering the voices that were silenced because of the Holocaust, “Silenced, Survived, Remembered”.

Join us as our roster musicians—Annette-Barbara Vogel (violin), Vera Sherwood (violin), Jutta Puchhammer (viola), and Miriam Stewart-Kroeker (cello)—are joined by guest pianist Brett Kingsbury to give voice to these composers.

Through their music, we are constantly reminded that art has always been, and always will be, a valuable form of expression during such trying times.

Program:

  • Blues for piano by Simon Laks
  • Sinfonia Concertante op.68 by Walter Braunfels
  • Quintet No. 1 by Ernest Bloch
