Listen to David Rist share his wealth of experience about manufacturing and exporting! He is the Program Integration Director for the Manufacturing & Export Enhancement Cluster (MEE Cluster) in Alberta. Their focus is to support growth and enhance global competitiveness in Western Canadian manufacturing businesses. Check out his bio below.

David has built a career in Project Management, Business Operations, and Change Management in various capacities. David has extensive experience in implementing new systems and technology, and helping businesses realize opportunities to create efficiencies in their current business model. He is adept at building strategic relationships and advocating on behalf of an organization and stakeholders he represents. David’s hobbies include being an avid mountain biker, hiker, and kayaker and enjoys all outdoor pursuits. He is a recent graduate of the Harvard Business School CORe business fundamentals program and is a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt. David currently resides in Edmonton with his wife and two kids and call Alberta their home.
In David’s current role as Program Integration Director for the Manufacturing Export and Enhancement Cluster; he currently oversees the Industry Assessment program and the delivery of the Program. He also is heavily involved in the building of connections between solution providers, industry, and post-secondary institutions, as well as the build out of tools and training to create greater adoption of digital tools and technology across Alberta.
On a side note, David grew up in Southern Alberta and has roots in the Brooks area.
