Mastering Midlife Metabolism!
Overview
Saturday, January 24, 2026
1:00–3:00 p.m. AST
Milton Community Hall – 7 New Glasgow Road, North Milton, PEI
Midlife can feel like someone changed the rules overnight—especially when it comes to metabolism. Suddenly the strategies that used to work stop working. Energy dips, weight shifts without explanation, sleep changes, cravings increase, and stress seems to hit harder than ever.
You’re not doing anything wrong.
Your body is changing.
Join Women’s Holistic Hormone Health Practitioner Gineen Nicholls and Fascial Stretch Therapist & Nutrition/Lifestyle Coach Denee Gallant for a powerful live workshop designed to help women understand what’s really happening to their metabolism during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
Whether you are actively in midlife or not quite there yet, this event will give you the clarity, confidence, and tools to support your metabolism at any stage.
We will also be joined by Charlene McFadden, who will deepen the conversation by exploring the profound (and often overlooked) connection between your nervous system and your metabolic health.
What You’ll Learn
During this 2-hour interactive event, you will learn:
• Why metabolism changes in midlife
What happens to hormones like estrogen, progesterone, thyroid hormones, insulin, and cortisol—and how they influence energy, weight, cravings, and mood.
• How to support metabolic health through nutrition
Simple, sustainable approaches to blood sugar balance, protein intake, fiber, hydration, and nourishment for women in midlife.
• The role of nervous system regulation
How chronic stress impacts metabolism, why midlife increases our sensitivity to stress, and practical tools you can use daily.
• Why movement matters—differently than before
How strength training, stability, and gentle fascia-focused movement can change metabolic function in midlife.
• What women wish they knew sooner
We’ll talk about prevention, early signs of metabolic shifts, and the habits that support women well before menopause begins.
