Men of Presence - A Circle for Grounded Brotherhood

By Bill Vollmer

Overview

Spirituality is the practice and awareness of being self-aware.

Men of Presence - A Circle for Grounded Brotherhood An evening of awareness, connection, and shared practices for inner balance

About This Event

Ever feel like your mind never stops? Like you're constantly reacting instead of responding? You're not alone.

Many of us carry stress that shows up as anger, overwhelm, or that relentless inner critic telling us we're not doing enough. We're always defending ourselves, needing to prove we're right, pushing through, controlling what we can, and rarely pausing to just... breathe.

Men of Presence is a gathering where men come together to explore something different—a path toward calm, clarity, and genuine connection.

This isn't therapy. It's not a lecture. It's a circle of men learning practical tools to:

  • Quiet the mental noise
  • Respond instead of react
  • Let go of the need to be right or defend yourself
  • Show up more fully for the people who matter most

What Happens During the Evening?

Grounding meditation & conscious breathing – Simple practices to calm your nervous system and create space between thoughts and reactions

Breathing techniques for stress resilience – Strengthen your body's ability to shift from stress mode to calm, improving creativity and awareness

Open men's circle – Share, listen, and connect in a judgment-free space built on mutual respect

Tools for daily life – Learn when to say no, how to reduce reactivity, and ways to improve relationships with your partner and kids

Real talk about the masculine experience – The pressure to provide, the need to always be right, the constant defensiveness, the struggle between strength and vulnerability, and the inner battles only other men truly understand

Why Join Us?

Because this work is easier—and more powerful—when you don't do it alone.

Your partner may support you. Your friends may encourage you. But there's something irreplaceable about sitting in a room with men who get it—who understand the unique challenges you face and are walking their own path toward presence.

You'll leave with:

  • Practical tools you can use immediately
  • Connection with men on similar journeys
  • A quieter mind and steadier nervous system
  • Less need to defend or prove yourself
  • Support for showing up as the man you want to be

This gathering is for you if:

  • You're tired of feeling overwhelmed or reactive
  • You find yourself constantly needing to be right or to defend yourself
  • You want to be more present with your family
  • You're ready to quiet that inner critic
  • You're seeking authentic male community

Join us for an evening of brotherhood, learning, and growth.

Feedback from previous Men of Presence circle:

"It was excellent! Thank you for inviting me. You did a great job facilitating and creating a comfortable, safe space. I enjoyed the experience."

• Eric

"Here's the thing, like most men, finding balance and grounding is an internal practice for me and has often felt like something I should go at alone. But I longed for some brotherhood, some community and some guidance. Bill has a gift, getting us - a group of men - together is a feat in itself, but his gift is much greater. Bill has a calm, light presence with a hint of childlike curiosity that really disarms even those of us holding things tight. He got me to see something in myself and to share it out loud. I was invigorated, and I can't wait to get back with the fellas. I was grateful to the guys who showed up, shared and showed me I am not on an island. All thanks to Bill for calling us together and guiding us down a path. The future is bright.

• Kyle

"I really valued the space Bill held for the group, allowing us to actually open up about issues that are experienced by men and be supported in addressing them on an emotional and spiritual level. Looking forward to the next meet-up and discussion."
