Lim-Shanahan-Cho Trio

Experience the soul-stirring music of Astor Piazzolla and other tango-inspired works for flute, cello, and piano. This dynamic trio seamlessly blends classical artistry with the passion and pulse of Argentine tango, creating a vivid, sensual musical journey.

Terry Lim, flutist

Terry Lim is a multifaceted flutist recognized for imaginative artistry and risk-taking. He studied at UBC, taught at NYU and McMaster, and performed at major festivals and venues across North America and Asia. A champion of chamber and contemporary music, he leads the Caledon Music Festival, teaches privately, adjudicates, and is an International Artist for Trevor James Flutes and Beaumont Music.

Sybil Shanahan

Canadian cellist Sybil Shanahan is a passionate chamber musician who has performed globally, founded Cicada Woods and Tadioli Duo, and leads Beaux Strings. She's featured on the award-nominated album DISTANCIA and Cuphead’s soundtrack and arranges for Jonathan Michael's "The Sacred Project." Sybil adjudicates for Ontario music festivals, teaches adult cellists in Toronto, and trained at the Amsterdam Conservatory and in Europe.

Joonghun Cho

Pianist Joonghun Cho, praised for his artistry, has performed globally as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with renowned orchestras and festivals. A winner of multiple international competitions, he studied in South Korea and the U.S., earning advanced degrees. Now based in Toronto, he is the artistic director of the Gibson Classical Concert Series, continuing to inspire audiences with his musical expertise.
