Brain-Focused Strategies for Learning

"This research-based curriculum features 15 lessons that use the latestinformation about the brain to dramatically improve behavior and learningfor all students. Each lesson offers easy strategies for helping students focustheir attention, improve their self-regulation skills, build resilience to stress,and develop a positive mind-set in both school and life. The lessons fiteasily into any schedule and require minimal preparation. Classroommanagement tips and content-area activities help you extend the benefits ofMindUP throughout your day, week, and year."

Participants will receive a copy of this book (either the K-2, 3-5, or 6-8)and materials. Participants are invited to try out MindUp activities in theirclasses between sessions. Please come prepared to learn and share.
