Move Your Mood is a free, eight-week, referral-based program developed by the Recovery Alberta Mental Health Promotion and Addiction Prevention team.

Designed for postpartum women, it promotes physical activity, healthy habits, and social connection—especially for those experiencing mild mental health problems. Through fun, hands-on sessions, participants build coping skills, resilience, and confidence while exploring movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and stress management. The program’s four core pillars support lifelong healthy choices, with an added Build Assets pillar to help moms nurture their children’s health, connection, and resilience.

Participants will recieve an email prior to the start of the program with further information.
