Description:
Expert-led, hands-on beginner Acrylics nail extensions training designed to build the core skills and core knowledge competencies needed to create long-wear acrylic applications using safe, hygienic, salon-standard practices. Gain the confidence to enter the industry, earn your Certificate of Completion, and launch your professional nail career — limited seats available, enroll today!

5 days × 4 hours (20 hours total)

Included Kit:

(Valued at $375 CAD)

• 20-piece professional acrylic powder kit ( $9 USD per powder)

• Monomer (120 ml), dappen dish, pro acrylic brush ($45 CAD)

• Files, buffers, practice tips, nail glue ($65 CAD)

• Sanitizing spray, cuticle oil ($25 CAD) (Kit is included in tuition and retained by the student.)


Tuition & Payment:

• Tuition: $2,500 CAD

• Deposit: $250 (non-refundable) paid on Eventbrite – secures seat

• Balance: $2,250 via student financing(4 × $562.50 bi-weekly). Student contract and setup link provided after deposit; must be completed within 5 days.

• Nov 29:Early-bird opens ($200 off until Dec 15) Credit applied to invoice for remaining balance.

• Dec 29: Regular tuition

• Jan 29: Student financing plan cutoff

• FEB 5: Enrollment closes

• Feb 16: Program starts

• Feb 28: Bonus Zoom Class


Certification: Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion in Beginner Nail Extensions issued by Modern Makeup Academy.


Student Requirements:

18 years of age minimum Good general health and manual dexterity Must maintain professional conduct and attendance Bring photo ID on first day of class All materials provided in kit must be brought daily Model will be requested for select practicum sessions


Refund & Withdrawal:

• Eligibility: Written cancellations received 30+ days prior to start are refundable less a $250 administrative fee and any issued kit value. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.

• Processing: Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days from written confirmation by the Academy Director.

• No refunds once classes begin or kits are distributed.

  • Knowledge of safe corrective procedures, removal protocols, and rebalancing methods that preserve natural-nail health.
  • Understanding of professional client communication, consultation strategy, aftercare instruction, and service-preparation frameworks used in the beauty industry.

  • Execute meticulous nail preparation using evidence-based hygienic and structural protocols aligned with salon and Public Health standards.
  • Sculpt architecturally sound acrylic enhancements through refined bead control, precision placement, and advanced product manipulation techniques.
  • Engineer balanced enhancement structures across multiple shapes — including square, coffin, stiletto, ballerina, almond, and squoval — with symmetry, apex integrity, and structural longevity.
  • Operate an electric file with professional-grade proficiency, demonstrating controlled pressure, disciplined technique, and precise bit selection for preparation, refinement, rebalancing, and removal services.
  • Perform advanced maintenance and rebalance procedures that preserve natural-nail integrity while restoring optimal structure and durability.
  • Create elevated artistic enhancements including ombre gradients, colored acrylic layering, encapsulation, and crystal application with aesthetic cohesion and technical accuracy.
  • Achieve a refined, salon-ready finish through disciplined shaping, surface refinement, and high-level finishing techniques.
