Overview

Save our Seine Webinar Series

Save Our Seine is inviting the community to take part in a reflective online journey of reconnection with the Seine River. New Beginnings: Pathways to Renewal and Care will explore what it means to rebuild our relationship with the river and the benefits that come from caring for both the Seine and the communities it supports.

The webinar will look back at some of the choices that have shaped the river’s current state, as well as the deep historical relationships that people have had with the Seine throughout time. It will also consider global forces—climate change and our growing disconnection from nature—that continue to affect the river today. Together, these perspectives offer a foundation for thinking about how we can move forward more mindfully, renewing our connection with the land and water.

The session will highlight the many ways the Seine River contributes to the health of our waterways and the role it plays in building stronger communities rooted in renewal, reconciliation, and respect for the land.

Participants will also explore the small, everyday actions that each of us can take to support the river’s health. From choices that reduce pollution and protect ecosystems to mindful practices that strengthen our relationship with nature, every action contributes to the Seine River’s renewal and resilience.
