What should I bring?

Bring a beach towel + warm layer of clothing (top and bottom) over a bathing suit. Wear your swimsuit attire underneath your clothing to make it seamless to get into the water and get changed after on the beach. Gloves/mittens are recommended too.

Are there changing rooms?

There are no changing rooms on site - we recommend arriving with your bathing suit underneath a layer of clothing.

This is my first polar dip, what should I expect?

We will be grouping all beginner dippers with an experienced guide. The group will enter the water together following a team lead. The initial entrance into the water may be a bit of a shock but that's okay - the team lead will help guide you from start to finish. Expect a post-dip euphoria all day!

How long do we stay in for?

There is no time requirement - participants are welcome to quickly dunk in and out or stay in the water.  Each wave of polar dippers will have 2-3 minutes of water time before the next wave is called.

What if I'm hungover from New Year's Eve festivities?

The single best cure for a hangover is a cold dip in the lake. We promise.
