A virtual tour of the Mi’kmaq Resource Centre at Cape Breton University, for NSCSW members during National Indigenous History Month.
About this event
To honour National Indigenous History Month, NSCSW members are invited to join a virtual tour of the Mi’kmaq Resource Centre, part of the Unama’ki College family at Cape Breton University. The centre is a repository of documents and a dedicated space for Indigenous research at CBU; it includes important resources such as artifacts from the residential schools. Bring your lunch, log on, and join Bree Menge as she shares some of the learning resources available to Nova Scotian social workers.
Eligibility
Must be a current member of the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers to attend; all active, associate, retired, and student members are welcome. There is no other prerequisite for this session. You'll need a device that can use Zoom, and a reasonably reliable internet connection.
