Liane Arandia is the Settlement Counsellor that provides settlement and employment support to newcomers and refugees of any immigration status forthe Newcomer Settlement Program (NSP) for all genders and Ganna Gungor is the Settlement Counsellor for the Newcomer Community Integration Program (NCIP) for newcomer women. We can support you by referring you to services you may need, sharing resources, and helping to obtain the following:
- Affordable housing
- Driver's licence
- SIN Number application, financial aid, OHIP/Health card
- Childcare
- Mental health counselling
- Education/training
- English Language Services
- English Conversation Circles
- Settlement and employment-related virtual workshops
- Referral to tax clinic & family finance clinic
- And more!
Additional support includes:
- Settlement Mentorship (female only) - you can be matched with a settlement mentor who provides local resources, advice in settling in Canada, career advice, and more
- Job Search - if you are not eligible for Employment Services or other employment support programs, we can assist you in job search with resume and cover letter building, finding job opportunities, and mock interviews

- get an overview of the services provided
