Dark Horse Online Purpose Statement
Our purpose, as an intentional gathering of men, is to be a living example that our past does not predetermine our future. Through the ManKind Project trainings and Shadow Work we hold ourselves accountable and create a personal mission statement*. By co-creating a safe physical, emotional, and spiritual space for each other. We are inclusive, believing everyone can find their personal truth. And we extend a ready hand of support during times of darkness and good times. To be in group is to feel heard and seen. We believe what is impossible today can become possible in the next horizon. And we embody that it is never too late for personal change or freedom from the past. To challenge each other and to be challenged. And to celebrate the goodness and joy in each other.
Simply we are here for each other and for the next man.

Meeting Outline
For the first 15 minutes, the meeting is a casual conversation. At 6:45 pm the meeting begins. Starting with group agreements, where the participants get the opportunity to co-create verbal agreements for how the meeting will run. The standard agreements include confidentiality, using "I-statements", and limiting distractions or multi-tasking. Then four complementary rounds, the Lover, the Warrior, the Magician, and the King. These rounds are designed to have participants identify and then feel different aspects of the 'self' and have the opportunity for personal insight.
The Lover Round
The first round, the Lover is where speaking our truth is safer. Here, being heard without distraction is profound. The archetypal energy of the Lover is often seen as new beginnings, connections, and the promissory note that the new day or next moment will be to our liking and delight.
The Warrior Round
The Warrior Round is not about savagery or otherwise harming but rather one of action and serving the realm of family and community. Standing guard for the betterment of all.
