This event is for you if you…
· want to connect and exchange ideas with fellow dairy farmers from across Canada
· have questions about cow housing - especially around freedom of movement, stocking density, and calving areas
· are interested in sharing your experiences
· want to deepen your understanding of the Code of Practice requirements for cow housing and the reasoning behind them
· are looking for practical strategies to adapt cow housing to meet those requirements
· can join us online
This 2-hour online discussion group will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. There are 12 spots available for dairy farmers in this session. A host and facilitator will also be present to support the conversation and share their expertise.
Agenda:
20 minutes – Welcome and Introductions
90 minutes – Group Discussions
10 minutes – Closing Remarks
