Overview
Exploring the St. Williams Conservation Reserve
Join us for an immersive hike through the St. Williams Conservation Reserve, a unique natural area spanning 1,035 hectares of Crown land in Norfolk County, Ontario. The reserve includes two distinct tracts: the Zavitz Nursery Tract in St. Williams and the White Turkey Point Tract in Turkey Point.
Designated as a conservation reserve in 2004 for its significant natural and cultural value, this area is home to diverse habitats and species, making it an important site for biodiversity and ecological restoration. Open to the public, the reserve offers opportunities for exploration and enjoyment while ensuring the protection of its unique natural heritage.
Meeting Point:
We’ll gather off Highway 24 in the parking lot by the dam on the north side of the road. Please note that Eventbrite maps don’t allow for detailed longitude and latitude use. If you have trouble finding the parking lot, feel free to contact Cynthia at 226-567-0465.

What to Bring:
Pack food and water. There are no garbage cans available, so please pack out what you pack in. We often collect extra litter along the trail as part of our commitment to keeping these spaces clean.
