Overview

If you missed the recent in-person travel panel, this is your chance to hear Heather's presentation and ask questions.

Heather Campbell is an occupational therapist and the founder of Campbell Occupational Therapy, a community-based practice supporting clients recovering from brain injuries, concussions, and other serious injuries and illnesses. With over a decade of experience in hospital and community settings, she helps clients regain independence after brain injuries, addresses the physical, cognitive, and psycho-emotional impacts of injury on daily function, and helps clients navigate the rehabilitation process. Heather offers a real-world perspective on recovery and reintegration, grounded in her commitment to client-centred care and functional outcomes.

Heather will share practical strategies for travelling after a brain injury, including planning around symptom management, cognitive challenges and mobility needs. She will discuss considerations for using supports, such as airline and travel services, personal care support, and adaptive tools to manage challenges such as fatigue and cognitive overload.
