Our Possible Future: Yes, we can build it better! (Edmonton)
Event Information
About this event
The building and construction industry is uniquely positioned to reduce carbon emissions, support Indigenous self-determination, redistribute economic opportunities, and much more.
If you believe change is possible, join us and a network of local leaders working in the built environment as we explore our role in shaping our possible future.
Drawing on his best-selling book, Net Positive, Andrew Winston will help you discover how to profit and grow as a business by creating a positive impact on society—which will unleash innovation, attract the best people, earn trust, make customers happy, and create lasting partnerships to build a thriving world.
The first 25 people who register will receive a copy of Andrew's book when they sign in at the venue on the day of the event.
Following the opening keynote from Andrew, Don Iveson, former Mayor, City of Edmonton will open a panel discussion with a talk on partnerships and the importance of local leadership. Following his talk a panel of local leaders will share examples of net positive strategies they use to grow their businesses and benefit society.
Closing out the event with a compelling call-to-action is Tim Coldwell, purpose-driven business leader and president of Chandos Construction. Tim will talk specifically about the ways in which the construction industry must lead. He'll share examples across the sector to inspire you to bring purpose to your next project.
