Overview

Perfect for families expecting a child, considering becoming pregnant, adopting or those fostering.

The transition to parenthood can be overwhelming, and caregivers often experience feelings of isolation and loneliness, especially during parental leave when they may have limited social interactions. Adequate support during the early stages of parenting facilitates bonding and attachment between parents and their infants. Providing support and regular connection can help alleviate feelings of loneliness and improve mental health outcomes for both parents and their infants/children.

This half-day parent preparation course is carefully designed to help those families who are expecting a child or considering becoming pregnant. It offers meaningful information about how to prepare for your baby after birth and delivery, how to create a home environment to support infant development and create secure attachment.
