PART 4: SIGNING NATURALLY CURRICULUM UNITS 7-12: 4 Saturdays, January 10, 24, Feb 7 & 21, 2026, 9:30 AM -4:30 PM EST via ZOOM
This is a 24-hour course that is fourth in a series of 5 courses offered by CHS to train Culturally Deaf individuals who are fluent in ASL to become an ASL Instructor. This 5-part program prepares participants to teach ASL from the Signing Naturally Teacher's Curriculum Guide.
In this course, participants will become familiar with Units 7-12 of the Signing Naturally Teacher’s Curriculum Guide. Participants will be introduced to the lessons in Units 7-12, storytelling, teaching strategies and evaluation.
ATTENDANCE: Full attendance is required to achieve a certificate. There is a separate fee for the make-up session. Please hold the make-up date or contact astratimorrison@chs.ca if you need more information.
ENTRY QUALIFICATION: participants must be Culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL. If you are not sure that this describes you, please contact astratimorrison@chs.ca to arrange a Skype meeting before you register.
PRE-REQUISITE: Successful completion of Signing Naturally Units 1-6

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: January 8, 2026.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: if there is insufficient registration on January 7, 2025, the course will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
