Join us for an inspiring evening at Collins Recital Hall (L106) - Northwestern Polytechnic on December 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM (Mountain Time). Discover new pathways to success and education.

This session brings local partners together to help you understand post-secondary options, English language courses, and government supports that can help you plan for your future or support your children’s education.

At this session, you will learn about:

  • Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP):
    Program options, admission requirements, student supports, and how to apply for the coming intakes.
  • Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning (GPCLL):
    English language courses, adult upgrading, and community learning opportunities.
  • Service Canada:
    Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), federal education grants, and benefits available to newcomer families.
  • Scholarships & Awards:
  • Sadiq Scholarship for Emerging Newcomers
  • Empowering Women, Transforming Futures Bursary Program
  • Youth Economic Empowerment Microgrant
