This session brings local partners together to help you understand post-secondary options, English language courses, and government supports that can help you plan for your future or support your children’s education.
At this session, you will learn about:
- Northwestern Polytechnic (NWP):
Program options, admission requirements, student supports, and how to apply for the coming intakes. - Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning (GPCLL):
English language courses, adult upgrading, and community learning opportunities. - Service Canada:
Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), federal education grants, and benefits available to newcomer families. - Scholarships & Awards:
- Sadiq Scholarship for Emerging Newcomers
- Empowering Women, Transforming Futures Bursary Program
- Youth Economic Empowerment Microgrant
