Join us for a 2-day Peer Support Group Facilitator Training designed to equip you with the foundational skills to facilitate peer-led support groups in a compassionate, inclusive, and effective way.

- Sunday, January 11, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Pacific)
What You'll Learn (10 hours total):
This interactive training explores the core principles of peer support and group facilitation. Topics include:
- Understanding Peer Support & the Role of the Facilitator
- Active Listening & Communication Barriers
- Empathy and Empathic Responses
- Navigating Crisis Situations
- Group Dynamics and Inclusive Practices
- Final Reflections and Wrap-Up
If you are interested, after taking this training and attending three (3) of Kaleidoscope's Peer Support Groups, you'll be eligible to volunteer with The Kaleidoscope Mental Health Support Society as a peer support group facilitator — gaining hands-on experience and joining a supportive community. If you'd like to start your own peer support group, this training will provide the foundation to help get you started.
