PLEASE NOTE:This course is open only to staff of Mental Health and Addictions division of Health PEI.
This course will review relevant provincial laws (Mental Health, Consent to Treatment, Adult Protection, Child Protection, Public Guardian, etc.) and Federal Laws (Criminal Law/Code of Canada and civil law) that mental health and addictions clinicians need to be aware of when providing care to individuals and their families.
