Session Description:What supports are available when someone is experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, or barriers to safety and stability? This session will introduce the work of the Cold Lake John Howard Society, a community-based organization helping people in Cold Lake and surrounding areas.
You will learn how their team provides shelter, outreach, advocacy, and education to support individuals and families. This includes crime prevention, the MAT program, and access to basic needs.
More than 90 percent of their clients are local—this session will show how they respond with practical services and a strong commitment to compassion and dignity.
Who Should Attend:Open to all community members, frontline workers, and service providers in the Cold Lake region.
