WHO: The session is for SFU international undergraduates and graduates who will finish their program in Fall 2025, as well as for those interested in learning more about the PGWP application process.

Are you planning to apply for your Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)?
If you have questions about the required documents, the application steps, or your work eligibility while waiting for your PGWP, we’re here to help!
SESSION TOPICS:
- Eligibility criteria for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
Overview of who qualifies, program requirements, and important considerations for maintaining eligibility. - Application timelines and processing expectations
When to apply, how long IRCC typically takes to process applications, and what students can expect after submitting. - Required documents for the PGWP application
Including the Credential Completion Letter, transcript, passport, valid language score, medical examination (if applicable), biometrics, digital photo, and any additional supporting documents. - Understanding the in-Canada PGWP application forms
Step-by-step guidance on creating the document checklist, completing key form sections, uploading documents, and clarifying eligibility to work after submission. - Q&A with an International Student Advisor / Immigration Specialist
Open space to address individual questions and unique situations
