Potters Wheel Classes for Adults and Kids 8 years and older

Welcome to our Potter's Wheel Classes ! In this session you will learn how to build a bowl or a vase using Potter's Wheel. We will dry your piece, which will be ready for you to decorate and glaze in the same day. Two classes in one sessoon.

What to expect:

Our expert instructors will guide you through the fundamental techniques required to craft your own piece. Our aim is to nurture your skills and inspire your creativity.

This class is designed to make you feel at ease with the potter's wheel. You'll learn the delicate art of controlling the wheel's speed, finding balance, and centering the clay, all while understanding how the subtle movements of your hands contribute to shaping your creations.

*We will give you the opportunity to decorate and paint your pieces in the same day.

Once your pottery is completed we let them naturally dry for few weeks, ensuring it reaches the ideal state for firing, otherwise they will explode in the kiln. Afterward, we carefully fire them for the first time, dip them in clear coat glaze and fire them again for the second time. That not only adds a stunning look but also makes your pottery safe for food use and display. They are microwave and dishwasher safe.

Pick up time

• Pick up at the Studio, 4 weeks after your Class.
• We keep the Pottery at the studio for 3 months. Iif they are not picked up after 3 months we donate them away to make space for new pieces.
