NEXT STEPS
Here at Makers we have designed a program where class size is kept small (3 to 4 people) to allow for focused learning and one that allows you to learn and advance at your own pace.
Upon completion of this class and you choose to move forward in learning the wheel then sign up for Step 2 of how to learn the wheel at Makers: Focus on Fundamentals. In order for your journey to be effective it is recommended you sign up for Focus on Fundamentals within 2 weeks of completing this class.
Upon completion of Steps 1 and 2 you can then return as a member and access our wheels and practice clay at no additional charge until you are ready to purchase your own clay and learn the art of glazing. Be prepared to spend up to 6 months practicing before keeping any pieces. It takes time to develop the techniques needed to be successful at throwing small pieces and keeping them to glaze.
We are both a teaching studio and a community studio for members to use.
