Getting Ready to Return to Work in the New Year? We’re here to support you every step of the way.

RNC Employment Services flexible, no cost to you, part-time Career Counselling & Exploration Program can help you rebuild confidence, strengthen your skills, and prepare for meaningful employment.

Program Information Session Details:

Date: Thursday, January 8, 2025
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: 4151 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, ON

Cost: FREE

Free Refreshments provided. Easily Accessible by Public Transit and Free Parking Available Onsite

Program Highlights

· Building confidence and motivation

· Life skills and self-advocacy

· Mental health and wellness strategies

· Goal setting and planning for meaningful change

· Building and maintaining social connections

· Identifying suitable occupations for future career planning

· Weekly one-on-one vocational counselling to explore career paths and access community resources

Transit support is provided to accepted program participants.

After completing the program, participants are referred to the Integrated Employment Services (IES) program for extended employment support.

You may be eligible if you are:

· A resident of Ontario

· Legal working age

· Eligible to work in Canada (open work permit if applicable)

· Not currently enrolled in an IES program

· Not working full-time or attending full-time studies/training

On-the-spot eligibility screenings will be available during the session. Please bring the following required documents (if available) with you.

  • Government-Issued Photo ID (e.g., Ontario Driver’s License, Ontario Photo Card, Passport, or Permanent Resident Card)
  • Proof of Legal Work Status in Canada (one of the following): Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Citizenship Certificate, Permanent Resident (PR) Card, Open Work Permit (Employer-Specific Work Permits are NOT eligible), Social Insurance Number (SIN) – Required for employment services.
  • Updated Resume (if available) – hard copy or print it onsite
  • Ontario Works (OW) or Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Documents (if applicable) if your receiving social assistance.

If you don’t have all the above documents, you can still attend the information session and our team will guide you on how to obtain any missing documents.
